Welcome to our Room One Blog for 2017

We are a class of Year 2 children. A lot of us are 6 years old and some of us are turning 6 in the next few months. There are 20 children in our class, 12 girls and 8 boys.We have one Teachers Aide, Millie and two teachers, Mrs Smith and Mrs Scott.

This week the children have been investigating their new room, learning some routines and rules needed for a great year of learning, trying out some Maths card games, into swimming groups and reading a shared book called "Rat a tat tat" then doing some sentence from it.
